There's a moment right after the "I do," when your person pulls you in close and everything else seems to fall away as your whole body FLOODS WITH WARMTH. Scientists call it oxytocin. I call it the reason I do this.
For over a decade I've photographed more than 200 weddings all across Colorado and here's what I've learned: the images you'll treasure forever aren't the stiff, perfectly-posed ones. They're the ones that make you feel IT all over again. The belly laugh. The happy tears. That look they give you when they're thinking "How did I get so lucky" I chase that feeling, and I build every single frame around it.

The rain was softly falling when Isaac saw her — his bride, walking toward him down the aisle. In that moment, everything else disappeared. You could see it wash over him — the weight of it, the beauty of it — he was feeling the full significance of his life changing in the most sacred way. Euphoria and composure fought for the same space. His best man slipped him a handkerchief, pulled him into a hug, and held on. When I looked around, there wasn't a dry eye anywhere.
Some stories leave a lasting imprint on everyone who witnesses them. This was one of those stories. Long after the celebration has ended, these photographs will remain—a gentle reminder of sacred promises, joyful tears, and a love that transformed an ordinary rainy day into something unforgettable.
