"I'm holding back the tears AS i look at my reflection in the mirror. i can almost hear my mom's voice saying, 'Wow! You shine brighter than the moon Honey'. She would tell me this every time i'd play dress up as a child and put on my favorite princess dress and her over sized high heels. It's been 7 years and I miss her everyday. I look at the clock and start to feel nervous, 30 minutes until i walk down the aisle to marry my soul mate. and then, i remember...Dad! I have to do the first look with my dad! As my aunt goes to get my dad I hide around the corner so he won't see me. I hear his foot steps and...sniffling? Has dad been crying already? i round the corner, my dress swishing, to greet my dad and he bursts into tears and pulls me in tight. After a minute he suddenly pulls back, 'I almost forgot. this is for you...from...your mother and i.' He says as his voice trails off quietly at the end. From his jacket pocket he takes out a thin gold bracelet. As he places it around my wrist i read the inscription on the top aloud "you shine brighter than the moon" My vision gets blurry as i try to blink back my tears and then i hear the soft "Click click of a camera!" i almost forgot where we were for a moment! I will cherish these photos with my dad forever."
