Taylor and Mike had the best wedding celebration! They actually got married last year after having to reschedule their 2020 wedding because of COVID. However they weren’t going to let that stop them from becoming husband and wife! They decided to have an intimate backyard wedding with just their immediate family to witness them saying “I DO”. Taylor and Mike knew that they still wanted to celebrate their union with all their friends and family when it was possible, so finally they were able to find a new date in 2021!

As Mike so fittingly said in his vows, “I knew getting married wasn’t going to be super easy, but I didn’t know we would go through a global pandemic together. I also knew that we’d be spending a lot of time with each-other when we got married, but I didn’t know that we’d literally be spending every minute of the day with each-other, working from home and quarantined for months!”

It was so special to hear them reflect on their vows after being married for a year already! You can tell their love and respect for each-other has only grown in the last year! During the toasts at the reception each person that shared also held back tears as they reflected on what they love about Taylor and Mike and what a beautiful thing it is that they have with eachother!

Taylor and her dad shared a first dance (fun fact, it was actually the song I danced to with my dad at my wedding…so extra special) Then about two minutes into dancing Taylor’s dad tossed his suit jacket and they both sported sunglasses as they danced to snippets of popular songs and their dance moves! The crowd was cheering and going wild! It was definitely a fun reception filled with groomsmen on tricycles and bridal party entrances with light sabers and selfies!
