The night Robert proposed, he led Alison up to a trail of rose petals leading to their backyard. He was standing there in a suit with a bouquet in his arms. All the twinkle lights in the yard were turned on and there was a champagne bottle and glasses set up on the table. Robert called Eevee, their dog, over to him, and she was wearing her hiking backpack. He pulled the ring out of the pocket on her backpack, got down on one knee and asked Alison to be his wife. Of course, she was blubbering by that point and said “YES!!” They popped the champagne and had a romantic evening together, reminiscing about their relationship over the years and planning the future to come.
Alison and Robert had the most intimate and sweet elopement last weekend! They met in Golden at the School of Mines 6 years earlier and thought it only fitting to get married in the same place. We headed to lookout mountain where their friend, Jamie, officiated the wedding and their pup Eevee came for the celebration too!
As Alison walked up to Robert realizing this was the moment she was going to marry her best friend, she was full of emotion and almost shaking. Once their eyes locked all their nerves were settled by being in the embrace of each-other! They exchanged vows and popped the champagne to celebrate being Mr. & Mrs for the first time! Congratulations Alison and Robert!
