Kristen and Joe are both Colorado natives and grew up in Evergreen! They met for the first time while both working at a local movie theater. They lost touch over the years, but later reconnected in college and immediately hit it off!

We decided to explore a new spot, Brainard Lake, outside of Boulder. It was absolutely stunning and it wasn’t too crowded. The only down side was the millions of mosquitos! They were everywhere, you can even see them in the photos. Although they do almost give their engagement photos a romantic feel, we paid for it later with all the bug bites. It’d say it was worth it though! Their adorable pup, Stella, joined us for the session too. It’s so special to have the fur babies join in the fun!

Joe proposed to Kristine in Reunion Colorado which was the location of the house they were building. He was under a little tree next to a lake. Joe waited under the tree with their new puppy, Stella, and a ring. He handed Stella to Kristine and got down on one knee. Of course she said YES! To both the puppy and the proposal.
