Bryony and Mik have known each other since they were 13! They met when taking Tae Kwon Doe classes! They had been good friends for a long time until one day about 5 years ago they both started developing feelings for one another.

We did their engagement session back in January 2020 at Evergreen Lakehouse! I was 7 months pregnant and certainly left an impression when I slipped on ice and fell on my butt! Thankfully I was just fine! Click here to see their engagement session

They had originally planned to get married last year when they had to reschedule their wedding because of COVID. Once they decided they were going to elope they started planning a small celebrating with their closest family and friends.

Bryony did a first look with her dad in front of the fire place inside. Then Bryony and Mik did their first look alone on the balcony. It was the sweetest moment as Mik turned around you could tell he could hardly wait another minute to see the love of his life! He pulled her in tightly as they embraced!

They found a beautiful cabin in Estes Park where they would say their vows. Everyone was full of joy and laughter…especially when they thought the best man dropped the rings through the upstairs balcony! (Thankfully it was just a prank)

After the ceremony and some family photos we headed into Rocky Mountain National Park where we would take the most EPIC winter Bride and Groom portraits. It was about 23 degrees when we first entered the park.

After this first location we drove up to Bear Lake where it was almost a complete white out! We walked out onto the frozen lake…you can’t tell in these photos, but there were probably about 50 other people out on the ice taking photos in this mini blizzard! Bryony and Mik are amazing. I seriously can’t believe how calm and peaceful they looked while getting pelted with sideways snow in freezing weather wearing their wedding clothes!

One thing I enjoyed most about these two is their passion for life! They both shared with me the current things they are pursuing and why they love them so much! It was so refreshing to hear them talk about how they support and encourage one another in their dreams. It was such a beautiful day and celebration of these two!
