Around this time of year there are lots of Christmas Parties and other festive events! Here are some of my favorite things to do in the Denver area around Christmas time!
A fun outdoor market with lots of authentic German cuisine, handmade crafts, and live music!
Denver Dream Center has lots of opportunities for you to help serve food to those less fortunate in our community! Whether it’s helping with food prep, or serving food to families you can sign up online to serve! Giving back is a great way to spend time together!
3. Ice Skate on Evergreen Lake
Ice Skating is fun, but it’s even more fun on an open lake! Enjoy the beauty of evergreen while skating over the frozen lake. Or join in for a game of Hockey!
This one is worth the drive to Dillon. Go during the day to explore the ice castles and various ice caves. Or go at night when it is simply magical and lit up!
5. Ice Skate Through Christmas Lights
Parker Ice Trail at Discovery Park offers a unique ice skating experience. You get to ice skate through the park along a trail that is lit up with festive holiday lights and surprises!
6. Admire Ice Sculptures at Gaylord of The Rockies
Ice Skating, Tubing, Bumper Cars, Escape Rooms and more! This place has it all for some indoor winter fun!
7. Get Tickets to Watch The Nutcracker
Watch the incredible Colorado Ballet preform the Nutcracker. This will be sure to get you in the Christmas Mood!
8. The Polar Express Train Ride
Grab your jammies and little ones for a fascinating recreation of the Polar Express! Hosted by the Colorado Railroad Museum, get tickets before they sell out!
