Hey all – Happy Tuesday!

Honestly I was not well versed at all in wedding traditions when Kyle and I were engaged. I never knew if wedding favors were “expected” or not. But I had a genius idea and it would costs us almost nothing, so I decided to make wedding favors for our guests. Kyle and I both worked for Starbucks and we got a free pound of coffee every week.  We stocked up all on kinds of coffee and then separated them into cute paper bags with a custom stamp that chessily said “Love is brewing 10.19.14” We had everything from Light Brew to Dark Brew to Decaf! Our guests loved getting Starbucks coffee and it was definitely a hit!

Do you need to give your guests wedding favors?

No! Wedding favors are a great way to thank your guests for being apart of your special day but it is not required!

For most couples, it’s enough to provide dinner, deserts, the bar, the photo booth and of course a handwritten thank you note! If you decide to give wedding favors, take the time to make it something unique your guests can enjoy and will actually use!
