Adventure is defined as engaging in hazardous and exciting activity, especially the exploration of unknown territory. That could also be a good description of a life lived with Christ. He said he came to give us life and life to the full, but he also promised us that life would not be without hardship. So here is  to starting an adventure blog and chasing dreams.

The above picture is a winter hike in Rocky Mountain National Park. It’s called Dream Lake even though the lake was frozen over, but it certainly was dreamy. We rented micro-spikes for our shoes since the trail was packed enough to not need snow shoes. This was my first winter hike, and possibly the best winter hike to begin with! It was 4 miles round trip from the lower parking lot. In some places the trail seemed to disappear completely, but because we went on a Saturday there were lots of nice hikers to direct us to Dream Lake. We arrived right at sunset and I couldn’t be more happy (or freezing) to behold the view.
